Outside front garden is done as well...

Been a busy month,  I also completed the outside front garden - planted with mainly native tubes, and a couple of more mature plants. The agapanthas were already there, grew up over the last year or so, and this is the first year they have flowered!

Grass!

The grass is growing... still a bit patchy yet...

More substantial progress

There was movement in the front yard
For the word had got around
Gin had gone mad and ordered soil....

Nothing like a big pile of soil on the footpath outside to make a person get organised....
6 hours of digging, and our front yard went from this:
Add in a bit of link edge (brilliant stuff!), a huge pile of soil, and some blood sweat and toil:
Letting it settle for a few days, then we plant some grass... woo hoo :)

Small Steps

First of the garden re-do's, I tackled the smallest patch today, our little entrance garden. Transformed from a pile of dirt and leaves to a rockery. I planted it with Australian natives, covered with mulch, and voila!

A year on... and the stones are gone!

Well, its taken me over a year, but I have finally removed all the stones, and black plastic, from the front courtyard.

Now we have a big area of dirt, otherwise known as a "blank canvas" to fill in with something.

Before and after photos are below:

It doesn't look like much, but I am very glad to be rid of those stones!

Look at the leaves on the cabbage tree!

Oh dear, a big pile of stones to be rid of...

Now comes the fun part - designing and planting the new garden :)
